Windows and Mirrors

I am currently working on a series of close-up oil paintings of eyes, human and animal. I have found that gazing into eyes is like gazing into a whole world, yet at the same time there is a self-recognition as our awareness directly meets another's awareness. And with each eye, there is a different ineffable energy or transmission that can be sensed. This aspect isn't quite able to be defined, but I have come as close as I could with the titles of the paintings.
